How do I get into London from Heathrow Airport?

Central London by Rail

  • Want fast but not wanting to spend quite as much?  Try the Heathrow Connect.  Paddington becomes 25 minutes away, but travel can be booked for only £10.10.

Central London by Bus - Not the fastest way to get to London, but this does give you some of the least expensive options.

  • National Express offers a coach service with more than 500 destinations.
  • Local Buses offer transport options for as little as £1.45 with a pay-as-you-go adult fare.

Central London by Taxi - Take advantage of the well-known London black taxis or hire private minicabs from Heathrow Airport.  Please note that Taxi service rates tend to begin at around £50.00 and are much more likely to be closer to £75.00.
